This renowned forest owes this name due to dark firs and pines that cover the mountainous area. This area is the site of lumbering, woodworking, as well as the manufacture of watches.
In second position is the Forêt de Fontainebleau in France with 42,000 Instagram hashtags. Its stunning and diverse landscape lends itself well to artists using it as a backdrop as well as for typical activities like climbing, biking, walking, and horse riding.
