To this day, the core are the daily nonstop flights from Frankfurt to the Kazakh capital of Astana with fast connections, for example to the economic metropolis Almaty or to other regions of the country. Currently, Air Astana also flies every Wednesday from Frankfurt to Uralsk on the Caspian Sea.
„Our passengers are very much appreciating our flights from Germany, as they can quickly travel on via our hubs to all regions of Kazakhstan, but also to many important destinations such as Tashkent, Bishkek or Dushanbe. In addition, popular holiday destinations such as the Maldives, Bangkok, Phuket and Delhi are also belonging to our flight schedule,” reports Susith Hettihewa, Senior Regional Manager EU Central & East, Turkey at Air Astana. „Among our passengers from Germany are many business travellers and tourists, as well as people visiting their friends and relatives in Kazakhstan. In addition to our extensive route network, they appreciate Air Astana’s reliability, the high level of comfort of our young fleet, and the in-flight service, which ranges from extensive entertainment to high-quality, freshly prepared meals.”
Get to know a little more of Kazakhstan for 19 US-Dollars
Although Kazakhstan is a country which offers visitors a lot such as huge nature parks, mountains with skiing facilities, steppe landscape as well as modern cities and a fascinating culture, many know just little of it. Air Astana has therefore relaunched its popular “Stopover Holidays” programme in late 2022. Passengers travelling with Air Astana via Astana or Almaty can spend a night in the two major cities at very low cost and thus discover more of the country and its people. They can choose from single nights from 19 US-Dollars in selected three- and four-star hotels, including breakfast and airport transfers. Those wishing to stay longer can book additional hotel nights at equally attractive rates.
