Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards celebrate establishments with remarkable wine lists that perfectly complement their cuisine and captivate a broad spectrum of wine enthusiasts. In the Seychelles, only five restaurants received this honor this year, with Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island proudly claiming three of these awards, underscoring its ambition to become the region’s most exclusive destination.
La Perle, Maison Des Epices, and Moulin received the Award of Excellence, recognizing wine lists that feature a well-curated selection of top-quality producers, perfectly matched to the menu in both price and style.
„We are thrilled and honored that three of our restaurants have received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience, where world-class cuisine and expertly curated wine selections come together to create memorable moments for our guests,” said Thibaut Vieira, Director of Food and Bevarage at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island.
La Perle, a vibrant Mediterranean brasserie, delights with fresh, sustainably sourced seafood. Maison Des Epices entices with meat specialties infused with exotic spices, blending Creole and Latin American flavors in a fiery fusion. Moulin offers an exquisite farm-to-table experience, emphasizing daily harvests that celebrate the art of gastronomy in a refined setting.
