Two Hotels, One Philosophy:

Sustainability for the Environment and for Guests at Paradiso Pure.Living and LA VIMEA in South Tyrol.

Surrounded by the rugged rocky slopes of the Dolomites, unique in style and concept, yet united by a common quest for kinder and greener tourism. Today we showcase two special hotels that couldn’t be more different, yet belong together: the Paradiso Pure.Living on the Alpe di Siusi and the LA VIMEA in the heart of Val Venosta.

Both hotels were founded by a family who sought to transfer their deep convictions of sustainability in all areas of life to the hospitality industry, and in doing so became pioneers in the region. From building materials to tablecloths – everything should be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

We feel a deep respect and responsibility to protect and preserve the natural beauty of these places for future generations. – Founders of Paradiso Pure.Living and LA VIMEA

The result is Italy’s first holistic vegan hotel, LA VIMEA, and the first vegetarian-vegan hotel in the Dolomites, Paradiso Pure.Living.

Unparalleled Nature and Impressive Panoramas

In addition to the sustainable philosophy that infuses through all areas of the hotels, there is something else that unites the two properties: a special location that allows guests to experience nature up close.

Nestled in the UNESCO Protected Area – Paradiso Pure.Living

At over 2,000 metres above sea level, one views the world from a different perspective. Up here, surrounded by the even higher peaks of the Dolomites and the gentle alpine meadows, everything settles into its proper place. The Alpe di Siusi is the largest alpine pasture in Europe and in the middle of it stands the curved building of Paradiso Pure.Living. Hiking trails begin right outside the door, leading guests through the stunning natural surroundings. In winter, guests can set off for the extensive ski slopes straight from the hotel. But whether winter or summer: the Paradiso offers space to relax and shift perspectives.

Sun-Drenched Mountains and Rushing Rivers Around LA VIMEA

At LA VIMEA it is not the sheer cliffs of the Dolomites that instil humility, but instead sun-drenched mountain slopes and bubbling, sparkling mountain rivers. On hikes visitors get to know nature from its wild side, while in the hotel’s garden it is more subdued. But whether wild or mild, harsh or delicate – at LA VIMEA, guests can be completely in the here and now and consciously experience all that surrounds them

Nutritional Concepts in the Spirit of Nature

Both LA VIMEA and Paradiso Pure.Living follow a plant-based approach in line with their shared philosophy. Not only in food, but throughout the entire hotel.

The LA VIMEA is holistically vegan. There are no animal products on the premises, not even in the furnishings. Guests will find neither leather furniture nor down duvets. Every day, chef Luca Sordi and his team conjure up delicacies from local and regional vegetables, fruit and herbs that you’ve certainly never experienced before.

At the vegetarian-vegan Paradiso Pure.Living, Mauro Massei and Grazia Bianchi also focus on plant-based cuisine with local products that are carefully prepared in the hotel kitchen. This is not only good for the environment, but also for the health and well-being of the guests.

Holistic Well-Being at Paradiso Pure.Living and LA VIMEA

The day starts slowly, whether you spend your vacation at LA VIMEA or Paradiso Pure.Living. Slowly and mindfully, perhaps with a morning yoga session on the roof terrace of the hotel, weather permitting. Followed by a balanced, delicious and naturally plant-based breakfast before heading out into the mountains. Hiking, biking, paragliding – South Tyrol offers travellers a wide range of (sustainable) activities. The teams at LA VIMEA and Paradiso are happy to help guests decide.

When guests return to the hotel in the afternoon, a wonderful relaxation offer awaits them. At LA VIMEA, the sun loungers by the natural swimming pond beckon after a refreshing plunge in the cool water. Alternatively, enjoy some laps in the indoor saltwater pool and then pamper yourself with a relaxing massage.

At Paradiso Pure.Living, the outdoor experience continues even after the hike. A whirlpool under the open sky invites you to take a cosy break in summer as well as in winter. Several saunas, an indoor salt water pool and other wellness facilities round off your stay on the Alpe di Siusi.
