Dedicated to enhancing and promoting Turkey’s tourism assets with the guidance of Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TGA signed strategic alliance with German Cycling Federation. The agreement recognizes Turkey as BDR’s official partner for destination promotion, making it the first destination with which BDR, home to 2,500 amateur cycling teams and around 140,000 amateur cyclists, partnered for promotional efforts.
Within the scope of the TGA-BDR partnership, Turkey’s bike routes will be promoted directly across the extensive cycling audience of Germany. The agreement also states that BDR authorities experience bike friendly accommodation facilities and cycling routes across Turkey, for which they would promote in Germany. On top of these, German National Cycling Team will visit Turkey for a two-week training camp. Set to introduce Turkey’s unmatched cycling routes to a directly targeted audience of hundreds of thousands of amateur cyclists via BDR communication channels, the collaboration will boost Turkey’s growth in the global cycling tourism.
