Plan de corones, a mountain paradise to experience nature and an enchanted place to create magical memories with family

In the Kronplatz region, fun is guaranteed for young and old. It's an ideal place to experience unforgettable adventures with the family amidst the pure nature of the Puster Valley, surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes, allowing you to savor the scents and colors while marveling at the exclusive view of the Dolomites.

In Olang, you’ll find everything you need for a rejuvenating family vacation: hiking trails at various altitudes and difficulty levels, as well as child-friendly parks and play areas away from traffic and noise. Family-friendly accommodations, cable car facilities just a few steps away, and the Puster Valley cycle path around the corner complete the picture.

Two Nature Parks offer a privileged view of the most fascinating natural wonders in the region: meadows, forests, waterfalls, and lakes create a kaleidoscope of possibilities, providing unforgettable memories that undoubtedly deserve a place in your family album.

Located at the edge of the woods in Olang, there’s a free adventure playground spread over several hectares, providing unique experiences for children: the famous Kids World. Climbing structures, a water playground, and various themed areas offer kids a variety of experiences they won’t want to miss during their vacation. The main attraction of the park is the longest slide in South Tyrol, measuring 56 meters. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy a well-deserved break, soak up the sun, and admire the view—a fitting conclusion to a relaxing family holiday.

Not far from Brunico, you can admire the earth pyramids, an astonishing natural phenomenon with rapidly changing colors. They start in bright yellow when the sun shines intensely, then fade into pale gray when the sky clouds over. The earth pyramids in Platten near Percha are an architectural masterpiece of nature that has gained popularity over the years and become a true attraction in the Puster Valley. You can easily reach them with a special shuttle that takes you to Plata.

For leisurely summer days, the mountain beach „Spiaggetta Ciamaor” near the village of San Vigilio in the direction of Pederü is perfect. It’s the ideal place to have a picnic, bask in the sun, and offer carefree fun for the kids. Here, you can play, explore Kneipp paths, find resting areas in an extraordinarily beautiful environment, and experience a different aspect of life within Nature Park.

San Vigilio has transformed the bend of the river into a place of attraction and recreation, both for families with children and for those seeking relaxation and refreshment in the water.

A beautiful bike ride on the Puster Valley cycle path is a must. Stretching 105 km from Rio di Pusteria to Lienz, it’s a beginner-friendly cycling route with only 500 meters of elevation gain and an approximate travel time of 6-7 hours. Divided into 4 stages and easy to navigate, it’s also ideal for families with children. If the entire route seems too long, you have the option to take the train and transport your bikes in the designated carriage. Along the entire route, you’ll also find places to rest and enjoy rejuvenating breaks during your journey.

And how could you not visit the enchanting setting of Lake Antholz, famous for its turquoise color? A gem of nature and one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps, with an area of 44 hectares and a depth of 38 meters. This magical pearl of the Antholz Valley is also the third-largest mountain lake in South Tyrol and is located near the renowned Staller Saddle on the border with Austria. At an altitude of about 1,640
meters in the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park, families, nature lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts have numerous opportunities throughout the year.

You can enjoy a pleasant walk along the educational nature trail around the lake, where you’ll discover the local flora and fauna. This route allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the park while learning interesting information about the life inhabiting it.
