La Posta Vecchia Hotel’s Culinary Revival

La Posta Vecchia Hotel is proud to announce the unveiling of an exciting chapter in the hotel's gastronomic journey, guided by a commitment to excellence and the principles of research, tradition, and quality.

Drawing from the rich tapestry of ancient Roman cuisine, La Posta Vecchia Hotel invites guests to indulge in a culinary experience steeped in tradition. Chef Antonio Magliulo, with his expert touch, has curated a menu that pays homage to the timeless flavours of Roman and Lazio cuisine. Highlights include tantalizing dishes such as „Roman dumplings with corn semolina, local 'porchetta,’ and grilled asparagus,” a tribute to the region’s culinary heritage. This initiative is grounded in the Pellicano Hotels group core values, as they endeavour to spotlight local heritage and traditions while showcasing the timeless excellence of Italy.

Each dish is meticulously crafted using the finest ingredients, sourced locally to support sustainable practices and promote community engagement. From farm-fresh produce harvested from our own gardens to artisanal products procured from trusted local suppliers, every element of our menu reflects our dedication to quality and our commitment to nurturing the surrounding ecosystem, which is fundamental to our sustainability program, „Il Dolce Far Bene.”

La Posta Vecchia Hotel

A magical hidden gem on the coast of Palo Laziale, this chic boutique hotel by the sea boasts 20 fabulous rooms, the celebrated Ristorante The Cesar, an indoor heated swimming pool, the LPV Health & Beauty Club, and on-site private museum and 5 hectares of lush gardens. The villa, which dates back to 1640, was built by the Orsini Princes and later sold to the Odescalchi family, who own the adjacent Castello. In 1960, La Posta Vecchia was purchased by Jean Paul Getty, who had the residence restored and filled with Italian treasures curated by art historian Federico Zeri. The current owner, Roberto Sciò, bought the villa directly from Getty in the 1980s, and in 1990 it opened its doors as the perfect getaway from Rome – only a 40-minutes’ drive away – and the epitome of lavish and eclectic Italian hospitality.
