The press trip will focus largely on Hamakua Hotel’s exceptional culinary program helmed by up-and-coming Normandy-based chef Edward Delling-Williams (also a co-owner of the property) who brings innovative French cuisine to the Big Island for a guest-only epicurean journey. In coastal Normandy, Chef Edward owns the seasonally operated Michelin Bib Gourmand The Presbytere and prior to this he was co-founder and executive chef of the hip bistro Le Grand Bain in Paris.
In addition to exploring tasting menus and demonstrations with Chef Edward media will enjoy spa and wellness treatments, relaxing by the oceanfront infinity pool, and time on their own to explore the region’s local attractions, including Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, waterfall hikes, night snorkeling, horseback riding, and zip lining, among others.
