DMC Representation company Travelmediate opens Boutique Holland DMC operating out of Amsterdam offices.

The Amsterdam based group, Travelmediate, has been operating in Europe for over 10 years, in 2019 expanding offices in the UK and United States offering DMC representation services, now opens their own DMC teaming up with Irene Avogadri from The Class Company offering DMC services across Holland.

Irene Avogadri joins Travelmediate’s opening Boutique Holland with a wealth of in country knowledge, close bonds with suppliers and over 20 years of local co-ordination of stand out events and incentive programs.

Boutique Holland will be represented in the United Kingdom, United States, France, Germany, Poland & The Benelux through the Travelmediate Global offices.

Highlight of the month 2.0

Last year the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam was regrettably cancelled due to the corona pandemic. That’s why the slogan 'Open Up’ seemed the perfect fit for the Song Contest this year. Sietse Bakker (2019) said: “Feel the freedom to complete the slogan in your own way. We found it was important to choose a theme that reflects the spirit of these times. With the slogan we warmly invite people to open up to others, too different opinions, each other’s stories and of course to each other’s music.” Rotterdam is a multi-diverse city and counts over 170 nationalities.

The 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 took place in Rotterdam. As expected, Rotterdam organized the event fantastically, the music was great, you could see diversity of different backgrounds and there were a lot of countries represented… As a country we are grateful that we 'Opened Up’ and were able to connect the world through beautiful music and mind blowing virtual shows! In Rotterdam there a lot of amazing things to see and do like: visiting the Markthal where you could experience the diversity of food, walk on the Erasmus Bridge, do a bicycle tour in the city and check the amazing skyline of Rotterdam at Maasboulevard.

If you would like the typical Dutch experience, you can visit the pancake boat. For the cultural and artistic experience, it’s nice to see With de Withstraat in combination with Museum Park.

News of the month

Our new trainee started this week. Say hello to George 🙂

Hello! My name is George Vogelaar, 24 years old and born in Rotterdam. I have a dance background as well so innovation is in my DNA. I am the newest and most creative intern of Boutique Holland. I started this week with my internship at Boutique Holland. It is an honour to learn from this amazing travel, incentive and event organizer. There are many possibilities to develop myself and I can’t wait to put my qualities into use.

· Favourite place in Rotterdam?

My favourite would be the Markthal. At the Markthal you can experience different kinds of food, drinks, specialities from cultures spread all over the world.

· Favourite food?

What I really love is to eat and typical from Rotterdam: kapsalon. Typical dutch and asian mixed fast food. You eat it with shoarma, fries, salad, garlic sauce and sambal.

· Person you would be sitting next in the plane?

If I could choose a moment in my life who I would sitting next to in the plane. Then it would be Aubrey Marcus. He is a lifestyle-based man on holistic health philosophy and focuses on life optimisation. I have read his book and what I will ask him about are creative recipes for optimising my daily food inspiration.
