Full dataset, including the ‘poshest’ Premier League teams can be found here.
Fulham have the least affordable season ticket for fans despite ranking as the second ‘poshest’ team, just behind Chelsea with a score of 9.53/10. The Cottagers would have to work an average of 19 days, almost four full working weeks to afford regularly attending matches.
Tottenham Hotspur placed in second, with the average fan having to work 15 days, or three working weeks, to support their team to the fullest. Interestingly, The Spurs ranked as the third poshest team in the Premier League, beating out Arsenal for bronze due to the presence of ‘posh’ supermarkets like M&S and Waitrose – which is reflected in their ludicrous season ticket cost. At £2,015, Spurs fans have the second-most expensive season tickets on the market: more than four times the cost of Burnley and Luton Town (both £500).
Clinching third position for least affordable season tickets was West Ham United, just pipping Arsenal to the post. Season tickets would cost 13 days of slaving away in the office, or 2.5 working weeks.
