European day of royal palaces on Twitter

On July 19, a cultural event is happening on Twitter. #PalaceDay,initiated by the Palace of Versailles and by the members of the Association of European Royal Residences (ARRE), is open to all the royal palaces as well as to the general public.

#PalaceDay aims to promote the common cultural heritage and to bring together the most of the European royal palaces. They are all welcome to share their history, their behind-the-scenes pictures and their collections in new and exciting ways.

#PalaceDay will also encourage visitors to participate in this eventand to post their favourite memories from their visit.
