Norwegians are the most intrigued by the future of electric cars. Totalling 38.5 searches per 1,000 people each month, it’s clear to see they’re interested in making a change.
In second place is Malta, with 31.2 per 1,000 searches every month. Last year the country announced a new clean vehicle scheme, giving citizens an incentive to go green.
Iceland claims third (26.6 per 1,000), Denmark fourth (25.3 per 1,000) and Ireland rounds off the top five countries with 24.8 searches per 1,000 people every month.
Making the top ten nations interested in electric cars are:

- United Kingdom – 20.6 searches per 1,000 people
- Netherlands – 19.5 searches per 1,000 people
- Switzerland – 17.8 searches per 1,000 people
