The peninsula of Capoliveri hosts a 5-paths bike park offering the best trails both for sportspersons eager to challenge themselves and for bike enthusiasts. Here, every year, the participants of the Capoliveri Legend Cup compete along the tracks of the Grundig World Cup held at Elba in 1994. The route is located hidden within Mount Calamita, where there is the Capoliveri Bike Park with its varied terrain for mountain biking and sea view itineraries.
Capoliveri Legend Cup brings MTB bikers from all over the world to experience a route that consists of 76 km with a drop of 2700 meters. The highlights of the race are two: „The wall of legend”, a very hard climb for the riders and the „Descent of the Auction”, a downhill section where you can reach up to 70 km per hour.
The competition is now a fixture in the world of MTB and this year celebrates its tenth edition which will be valid as a test of the UCI World Marathon Series.
