Chateau Mcely took third place in the prestigious Tourism Grand Prize in the Sustainable Project category on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Prague with the title „On the road to a green view”. The winners were officially announced by the communications agency COT Group during the opening day of the international tourism and regional tourism fairs Holiday World and Region World in Prague’s Letňany Fairgrounds.
Chateau Mcely has once again been recognized for its nearly seventeen years of intensive work in the field of ecology. In 2007, Chateau Mcely became the only five-star “green” hotel in the Czech Republic and the second in entire Europe with the highest-level European Union green certification. This was followed by the international awards World’s Leading Green Hotel in 2008 and Europe’s Leading Green Resort in 2011 and 2012. From its very beginning, the chateau focused on environmentally friendly operations and supported community life and philanthropy.
