In 18 races and five different disciplines the young biathletes will compete for the best results. In the small town of Shchuchinsk, which is well-known for winter sports, athletes can already find the most modern ski jump in the country. In March, the Biathlon Junior World Championships will gather over 800 participants from more than 50 countries at the National Ski Center, which opened in 2018 and subsequently passed the International Biathlon Union (IBU) certification. As a result, it is allowed to host international competitions.
