Today’s ceremonial event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Croatia, Mr Barlybayev Tolezhan and Director of Tourism Department of Montenegro Ministry of Economic Development, Ms Aleksandra Gardašević Slavujica.

“The start of daily flights between Montenegro and Kazakhstan as of June 21 coupled with the track-record of almost fully booked previous flights speaks volumes of the importance of drawing our two countries closer together and suggests that the Kazakhs will have a major share in the tourist arrivals this summer season,” said Ognjen Jovović, CEO of Montenegrin airports.
Air Astana has launched direct flights to Podgorica on 9th June 2021, with services on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Nur-Sultan and on Thursdays and Sundays from Almaty. Starting from 21 June 2021, Air Astana will serve Podgorica with daily flights, with additional frequencies on Mondays from Nur-Sultan and on Tuesdays and Fridays from Almaty.
